i-PRO To Operate Saga Factory To Expand Global Supply

i-PRO Co., Ltd. announced their Saga Factory located in Tosu City, Saga Prefecture, Japan will be positioned and operated as their core factory, beginning with the production of their security cameras products.

With monthly production volume projecting to start at 14,000 units, i-Pro’s goal aims to reach 40,000 units by 2028. I-Pro also has stated their intent to increase the production of security cameras and implement integrated production, promoting digitalization to realize operations that deliver products within two weeks of ordering.

Keizo Yamaguchi, Chief Manufacturing Officer stated, “In addition to Japan’s technological expertise and quality, we will make this a core factory that can compete globally in terms of cost and delivery time.” Additionally, Tosu City in Saga Prefecture is geographically convenient for transportation, so we will aim to turn the entire factory into a showroom, inviting customers from Japan and abroad to convey i-PRO’s manufacturing philosophy and uniqueness.

The Saga Factory was established in 1964 as a production base for Kyushu Matsushita Electric Co., Ltd. (currently Panasonic Connect Co., Ltd.), and since 2022, i-PRO has outsourced the assembly production of our security cameras for North America. Last October, when Panasonic Connect announced the closure of the Saga Factory, we continued to consider future production at the factory with CBRE K.K., a leading commercial real estate service provider. This time, through a scheme formed by CBRE, we have agreed to sign a lease agreement with “Tosu Industrial Facility LLC (SPC*1)” by the end of September 2025 and have decided to conduct our own production at the factory.

*1 SPC  = Special Purpose Company.
