Allied Universal Strengthens Leadership for Next Growth Phase
Allied Universal® has announced the promotion of Taylor Carr to President of Allied Universal Technology Services (AUTS), one of the largest security systems integrators in the United States.
Carr brings more than 25 years of executive leadership and operational expertise in the security and technology services industries. He previously served as Executive Vice President of AUTS following Allied Universal’s acquisition of Securadyne Systems.
Before returning to Allied Universal, Carr served as President of Vision Technologies, where he led major initiatives that drove revenue growth, modernized enterprise systems, restructured operations, and expanded service offerings—significantly improving profitability and long-term business value.
Carr rejoined Allied Universal Technology Services in early 2025 as Senior Vice President of Operations, where his leadership and strategic vision positioned the division for accelerated growth.
“Throughout his career, Taylor has consistently shown himself to be a strategic, solutions-driven leader who excels in operational management, M&A integration, and the development of high-performing teams,” said Steve Jones, Global Chairman and CEO of Allied Universal.
“His track record uniquely positions him to lead our company into its next chapter of growth and innovation.”
Carr succeeds Carey Boethel, who departs to pursue new personal and professional opportunities outside the security industry. Boethel will remain connected with Allied Universal as an advocate and investor.
Carr earned a bachelor’s degree in criminology and criminal justice from the University of Maryland and holds memberships with both the Security Industry Association (SIA) and ASIS International.
