AMAG Technology™ has announced the release of Symmetry™ CONNECT 2.0, advancing its identity-first approach to physical access administration. The new release is designed to help organizations manage identities across multiple access control systems while automating manual processes that slow operations and increase risk.
AMAG Technology with SwiftConnect
To deliver this capability, AMAG Technology partnered with SwiftConnect, a provider of connected access networks for places and spaces. Together, they offer a dynamic physical identity and access management solution that allows security teams to manage a single identity across multiple, mixed access control systems and buildings, while preserving current investments.
“Symmetry CONNECT 2.0 solves a real-world problem our customers face all the time: managing access rights consistently across multiple access control systems, often inherited through mergers, acquisitions, and growth,” said Jennifer Marx, Executive Vice President of Product Management at AMAG Technology. She added, “We listened and delivered a solution that works with Symmetry and competing platforms, so our customers can manage identities and access with greater speed and confidence.”
Centralized Identity Management From A Single Interface
Symmetry CONNECT 2.0 introduces a modern, streamlined user interface where operators can manage every aspect of an identity from one screen. This includes credentials, access rights, roles, onboarding and offboarding, and approval workflows. Changes made once are applied everywhere, helping reduce errors and improve efficiency across the organization.
The platform focuses on five core processes: onboarding and offboarding, centralized policy enforcement, self-service access requests, streamlined user experience, and audit and compliance. These areas are traditionally burdened by disconnected tools such as emails, spreadsheets, and phone calls. Symmetry CONNECT replaces these manual workflows with a centralized, identity-driven approach that reduces friction and operational risk.
“Identity is the center of access control administration,” said Marx. “Symmetry CONNECT helps customers replace manual, inconsistent processes with an automated approach to identity operations, improving transparency, reducing risk, and strengthening audit readiness across an organization.”
Symmetry CONNECT 2.0 is available through AMAG Technology™ and its authorized integrators and resellers.
