Salto recently announced the launch of Salto DLok, a next-generation, universal, motorized smart lock for residential doors. Built for seamless connection with the Salto Homelok ecosystem, DLok delivers secure, keyless access, automation, and broad compatibility for smart homes and apartments.
Designed for modern, connected living, DLok ensures doors are locked or opened automatically without physical keys, using a resident Digital Key app. It enables a fully automated and universally compatible access experience. With keyless mobile access via the Homelok app, residents can control entry for themselves, family, guests, and visitors in real time.
As a universal motorized smart lock, DLok connects directly to the Salto Homelok ecosystem, opening the door to integrated smart living experiences.
Redefined Mechanics, Electronics, And Design
Universal compatibility: The DLok offers a broad range of model options and retrofit accessories designed to replace existing door hardware and fit any standard door.
Universal retrofit: The DLok is compatible with virtually any door type and allows for installation or retrofit in less than 15 minutes. Crucially, the existing lock and door handle do not have to be replaced.
Durable mechanics: A new, more powerful motor increases product life, certifying more than 50,000 cycles. The DLok also features a renewed metallic shaft and support parts for enhanced reliability.
Precise calibration: A new magnetic calibration sensor replaces the mechanical component, improving calibration definition for more accurate and reliable lock performance and status reporting.
Advanced electronics and installation: The revamped electronics are supported by Salto technology and feature a unique semi-automatic calibration option. This new system combines automatic and manual actions to significantly improve performance and the accuracy of lock status reports.
Modern aesthetics: The modified flat thumbturn offers a smoother, modern look. A subtle straight mark acts as a visual reference to facilitate rotation feedback.
Beyond the lock, a new universal cylinder and adaptor accessories expand DLok’s ability to fit almost any door. Any door can become smart within minutes through simple, guided installation.

A full 15-minute installation that includes cylinder replacement, with no drilling or special tools required.
An “invisible from the outside” setup that maintains a clean, minimalist exterior look.
