ViSTA Networking Solutions (VNS) is pleased to announce a new set of systems as part of their video security product line – Vigiles. The Vigiles-LPR appliances are specifically designed for Automated License Plate Recognition at the edge. The first Vigiles-LPR offering is a complete solution which includes an integrated 33X 4MP PTZ camera, enclosure, and processor as well as a quick mount bracket system.
“Vigiles-LPR joins our Vigiles-NVR products as we expand our focus on video security appliances targeted at easing the installation process for our customers,” said Graham Joys President of VNS. “This complete ALPR system can be used in both covert and overt installations; and its patented portable bracket system is ideal for hot spot deployments or fixed location applications. By including a PTZ camera as part of the solution, technicians no longer need to spend time on camera alignment and focusing as part of the installation process.”
The Vigiles-LPR appliance has been field tested capturing and processing license plates at over 300 feet. The IP66 enclosure includes the camera, remote management capability, 4G LTE and WIFI connectivity, an edge processor with storage, and support for 2 additional external PoE cameras. The processor is scalable in CPU, memory and storage. The only cabling needed is connecting to a 90 to 264 VAC power source.
“Vigiles-LPR also supports video management software so surveillance and LPR can be offered in one solution with video storage of up to 8 TB. For those customers who would like, VNS can install and license BOBBYvms from Cozaint at the factory.”
