The Z-Wave Alliance, the standards development organization advancing smart home and Z-Wave® technology, will showcase its ecosystem at CES 2026 through expert-led panel discussions and live member exhibitions.
All Z-Wave-related activities will be hosted in the dedicated Z-Wave Alliance Ballroom (Titian 2205), designed as a central hub for innovation, collaboration, and industry insight throughout the event.
Showcasing Next-Generation Z-Wave Innovation
The Z-Wave Alliance Ballroom will feature tabletop exhibits from Alliance members demonstrating the latest Z-Wave-enabled devices and applications. Attendees will be able to explore next-generation solutions while engaging directly with engineers, product leaders, and ecosystem partners.
In addition to exhibits, the Ballroom will host two Fireside Chat panels where industry experts will discuss key topics including standards development, interoperability, emerging use cases, and the future of smart home and IoT connectivity.
Z-Wave Alliance Ballroom Exhibiting Members
CleverK9 – Developer of the patented Smart Safety Crate System, an intelligent connected dog crate built using canine behavioural science and advanced IoT technology. The 2026 release integrates remote access, live video, geofencing, smart-environment controls, smoke and fire monitoring, carbon monoxide monitoring, two-way communication, temperature regulation, behaviour and wellness tracking, emergency alerts, Owner Arrival automation, and optional privacy-transition smart-glass technology.
FireAvert – Officially launching Z-Wave compatible Auto-Stove Shut Off Devices that improve interconnectivity between integrators and users. FireAvert multi-channel devices notify users when smoke alarms sound, appliances are left on or off, and when automatic shut-off events occur, offering configurable endpoints for enhanced fire prevention.
Silicon Labs – Presenting a live demo combining Z-Wave Long Range and Amazon Sidewalk on the ZG28 SoC platform. The demonstration shows how developers can design for both ecosystems using a single solution, enabling seamless communication between a gateway via Z-Wave Long Range and Amazon Echo via Sidewalk.
Siterwell – Highlighting its latest Z-Wave 800 Series devices, including advanced smoke, carbon monoxide, and combination alarms, alongside sensors for heat, water leaks, motion, and doors and windows.
Vision – Showcasing smart home solutions that enhance security, safety, comfort, and energy efficiency, with a focus on new healthcare-oriented applications at CES 2026.
Zooz – Demonstrating Z-Wave Long Range devices including an upcoming Motion Dimmer Switch with built-in sensors and direct 3-way functionality, a new Siren & Chime device with custom sound playback, and more than 30 certified ZWLR products across lighting, security, and automation categories.
Panels And Media Opportunities At CES 2026
The Z-Wave Alliance will host exclusive events within the Z-Wave Ballroom, including two Fireside Chat panels followed by networking receptions. Seating is limited and advance registration is required.
Tuesday, January 6 – Dominating Smart Locks with the Z-Wave User Credential Command Class (UCCC)
This session explores how the UCCC standard enables secure, scalable, and interoperable access control across the connected home. Attendees will gain insight into the lifecycle of bringing a Z-Wave standard from proposal through certification, including IP considerations, interoperability testing, and the benefits of participation in technical working groups.
Wednesday, January 7 – The Responsive Home: Next-Gen Sensors, Open Standards, and the Future of Intelligent Security
Sponsored by ADT, this session examines how advanced sensing technologies and open standards are reshaping smart home intelligence. Topics include sensor fusion, Z-Wave Long Range capabilities, and how next-generation devices are enabling more responsive, reliable, and privacy-conscious home automation.
