The app keeps customer records, field notes, photos, scanned documents, important site locations and trip history organized around the account so technicians can recover useful information when they return to a site.
FireVault Pro grew from a problem its creator encountered repeatedly in the field: technicians collect valuable information on nearly every service call, but that information can become difficult to locate months or years later. Rather than adapting a general-purpose field-management platform, FireVault Pro was designed around the realities of fire alarm service.
"I wanted one place where the information I collected on a service call would still be useful when I came back to that account. FireVault Pro grew out of solving that problem for my own workday — and then building it into something other technicians could use."
Built Around the Service Call
FireVault Pro lets technicians preserve account-specific knowledge such as panel, riser, entrance and technician-parking locations; organize notes, photos, scans and documents by customer; and document the workday through GPS Trip Log, reports and automatic field media backup. Access extends across iPhone, iPad, CarPlay and a companion web portal.
The product was created by David Bannerman, founder of Bannerman US LLC and a low-voltage systems professional with more than 40 years of technical field experience spanning alarm, security and related technologies. The past decade of his career has focused primarily on fire alarm service.
Availability
FireVault Pro launches October 1, 2026, with international availability. The app is available in English at launch for iPhone and iPad. Pricing is $9.99 per month or $99.99 per year. Reviewers may access the current build through the public TestFlight.
