For over 40 years, Rick Gombar provided innovative insurance services for not only his own clients, but also for non-profit organizations and its' members, where he pioneered standardized General Liability / Errors & Omissions policies which have been adopted industry wide for decades.
Now retired, Rick is focusing his efforts toward fostering a partnership between the Security Industry and Tunnel to Towers Foundation- a non-profit organization spawned from the events of 9/11 to honor and financially support families of fallen military members and first responders.
Rick's article tells the story of the relationship between he and his brother, a decorated military veteran, and the inspiration he gained to create a movement for the security industry's support toward the T2T's mission.
