    New Controller Replacement Feature

The new Controller Replacement feature has been designed to streamline the process of replacing existing PDK Controllers with new ones, in the case of system upgrades and fixes.

“Replacing a controller used to take more time than it should, especially when a failure meant we needed to get a customer’s system back up quickly. The new Controller Replacement feature makes that process fast and straightforward. We can also upgrade an R1 or R2 to an R4 to add more doors while preserving the reader details, port assignments, names, and other configuration work we’ve already done. That saves our technicians time and creates a simple upgrade/expansion path.”

By combining new hardware options with practical software enhancements, PDK continues to focus on helping integrators and end users simplify installations, reduce service time, and adapt their access control systems as security needs evolve.
