Simplifying Security Dealership Operations
Security dealers often rely on disconnected systems to manage leads, credit qualification, contracts, consumer financing, technician scheduling, inventory, central station connections, recurring billing, and customer retention. These fragmented workflows can increase costs, introduce errors, and limit business growth.
Founded in 2004, SecurityTrax was developed to bring these capabilities together in a single platform without the extensive customization costs associated with conventional CRM and ERP solutions.

Alarm.com acquired SecurityTrax in March 2015. Today, the platform serves security dealers and central stations of various sizes, including SafeHaven Security, Skyline Security, and a.p.i. Alarm.

Modern User Experience
The redesigned interface features mobile support, dark mode and theming, site-wide search through a command palette, and guided workflows with onboarding checklists. These enhancements help teams follow consistent processes and adopt the platform more quickly.
AI-Powered Workflow Automation
AI is integrated throughout the platform to reduce manual work and automate routine tasks through three core capabilities:
- •AI Assistant: A conversational assistant available on customer and lead records that answers questions using data the logged-in user is authorized to access.
- •AI Assists: One-click tools and administrator-curated prompts embedded in workflows, including the ability to summarize a customer’s note history.
- •Automations: Rules that trigger AI-powered actions in response to account events, such as summarizing new web leads and routing them to the appropriate representative.
SecurityTrax designed these AI features with permission controls to ensure the system only accesses information the logged-in user is authorized to view.

Billing, Accounting and Digital Documents
The platform adds parent-child roll-up billing for multi-location operators, a unified accounting engine with a new journal system, do-it-yourself payroll calculations, and SecurityTrax eDocs, a native electronic document and e-signature solution.
Operations, Integrations and Reporting
Additional enhancements include a unified calendar, address and property-owner verification, a license catalog and government regulation management tool, a new Brinks integration, OpenID Connect (OIDC) single sign-on support, and improved reporting capabilities.
