The Security Industry Alarm Coalition (SIAC) has named Chief Tim Mattos its Western Law Enforcement Liaison, adding a veteran public safety leader with more than three decades of experience to the organization's national outreach team.
In his new role, Mattos will work with law enforcement leaders, public safety organizations and members of the electronic security industry throughout the western United States. His work will support practical, proven approaches to alarm management that reduce unnecessary dispatches while maintaining police response and protecting the public.

A Distinguished Law Enforcement Career
Mattos began his law enforcement career with the City of Woodland, California, in 1990. He later served as an investigator with the Marin County District Attorney's Office, police commander and police chief for the City of Suisun City, and director of public safety for the City of Rohnert Park. He is a graduate of the FBI National Academy and holds a bachelor's degree in criminal justice management.
